TAIYO CORPORATION (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Mariko Nakabe) attended the thematic event titled “Co-Creating the Future of Healthcare and the Economy” at the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) held at Pacifico Yokohama on August 20, 2025. During the networking session in the event, we connected with the Director General of Ghana Health Service (GHS), Hon. Samuel Kaba Akoriyea, where we were able to confirm how beneficial our products can be in Ghana.

Furthermore, a Kanazawa University doctoral candidate from Madagascar who participated in ABE Initiative internship at our company in 2024, Nirina Norton, connected us with the Governor of Anosy region in Madagascar, Hon. Voahary Rakotovelomanantsoa. We were able to introduce our product to her, and she acknowledged how useful it can be in remote areas where electricity is unstable or in medical facilities with inadequate infrastructure in Madagascar.
